Kate Boyden
Dental Therapist
Qualifications
RDT
Kate is our resident Dental Therapist who sees the teenagers who attend the practice. She has a real love for her job originating from her Mum who was a dental therapist for many years before retiring. Both have been involved in helping develop policies that will aid in the improvement in oral health for our kids.
Kate wishes to remind all parents that dental health is free for all teenagers under the age of 18. They can be seen for check ups yearly, xrays taken and any necessary treatment provided.
All the kids who attend the practice love Kate, who has a real ability to set their minds at ease and enjoys creating a long lasting raport with them.
In 2019 Kate joined Women and Wool – a group of ladies who took on the challenge to learn to shear sheep in order to raise funds for the charity Farmstrong – a nationwide rural well-being programme for farmers and growers. She loved it so much she kept it up and recently competed in Golden Shears 2020. She also enjoys cycling with her young family.
We look forward to meeting you and discussing your dental needs. Remember that you always have options when it comes to your teeth and gums. Do not feel afraid to discuss exactly what it is that you want. We love dentistry and everything that goes with it.
